Consortia Management

Records consortium members and their substance roles, shares study and budget costs between them, and generates invoice data.

Overview

Each member company is linked to the substances it registers, with its role, such as Registrant, Lead Registrant or Only Representative. These links determine which companies share in which study and budget costs.

Payment schedules and published costs feed cost overviews from a single study up to a company group. Invoice data is generated from these overviews and passed to leading accounting packages, and members can see their own studies, costs and invoices in the Portal.

Features in Consortia Management

  • Records consortium members, their legal entities and contacts, and the role each company holds for each substance.

  • Cost Sharing Members

Links consortium members to studies from the roles and interests they hold for each substance, and divides published study costs between them using configurable sharing rules and payment schedules.

  • Invoicing Members

Generates member invoice data from cost overviews and records, creates the invoices through an integration with leading accounting packages, and files and tracks them against each company.

  • Sends templated email and Portal notifications to a whole consortium, a viewing role, a group or a single member, and files sent emails in the document library.
